The eTwinning platform makes it possible to establish international school partnerships and create projects on interesting topics that develop children's competencies needed for the 21st century, such as critical thinking, collaboration, communication, digital skills, creativity.

The projects are incorporated into educational plans and bring an innovative form of learning. The children in this project were educated using the STEAM approach, this approach combines science and art. The children were given 4 topics (Water, Earthquake, Recycling and Separate Waste, Bees) which they solved from the point of view of science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics. The children created Story on the topic and solved the tasks according to the established STEAM plan.  According to the story, we worked out a STEAM plan collaboratively with the project teachers. Every  Plan included  Problem situation,  Problem questions,  Goals and profits focused on science, mathematics, engineering and technology, art and skills of the 21st century. The tasks on the topic of the month were developed and focused on 1) Defining and analyzing the problem 2) DISCOVERING and finding the best solution to the tasks. 3)  EXPLANATION Intellectual development 4) ELABORATE AND DESIGN 4.1) SHARE YOUR PRODUCT 5) EVALUATION  They worked on their tasks independently, in groups, learning to present their products. International cooperation was a great benefit, they met children from other countries, learned to cooperate and create various collaborative activities. The eTwinning project enriched their education, developed their competencies and skills. The Every Story One STEAM project enriched our educational activities, children solved interesting tasks according to the STEAM plan and developed important competencies such as communication, cooperation, critical thinking, digital skills and creativity. They met children from different countries and created many nice joint activities. They really enjoyed working on the project, they learned a lot and created many nice products. They liked presentations, online games, got to know different web tools. They enjoyed meeting each other on students webinars. The project was a great benefit for us.

The project involved children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) , who together with neurotypic children from our kindergarten and with children from foreign partner schools formed an inclusive team. The project was important for children with ASD not only to develop cognitive skills, but the STEAM approach supported their technical thinking, computer skills and attention to detail, but extremely important for them was a sense of belonging, cooperation, socialization and integration, inclusion.

I worked on the project together with my colleague Božena Beníková from the Mravčeky class. We realised the project with neurotypic children from the class Mravčeky  and with children from the special  class Myšky at the Iľjušinova Kindergarten in Bratislava, Slovakia.
